Expansion of the turkey hatchery in Laseczno

by | 19 Aug 2019

The breeding and hatching halls have been enlarged to adapt the production capacity to the current demand.

The plant has been enriched with additional modern breeding and hatching machines from Petersime. The existing machines have also been modernized.

The changes also included the facility’s air conditioning system. Two additional modern air conditioning units have been installed, meeting the latest standards that guarantee maintaining optimal climate. In addition, the current, largest climate control unit has been modernized to ensure the best incubation conditions for turkey chicks even in severe heat conditions.

As a consequence of this expansion, the warehouse and distribution of chicks have been significantly increased.

In the further stage, which will take place later this year, the company plans to expand its car fleet. Two additional specialised cars for transporting chicks with a capacity of 15,000 and 35,000 chicks will be purchased.

The expansion of the hatchery in Laseczno is connected with the dynamic development of the Gerczak company.
