The complex includes ten modern parent farms, constructed according to the biosecurity standards. – Thanks to these investments, from 2018 we will produce chicks from our own parent flocks in 100 per cent – explain the representatives of the company.
This is another investment realised by GERCZAK Nord-Pol Hatchery. At present, the company is finishing a project connected with the building of the fifth laying farm. The complex includes now ten parent turkey farms.
Since the beginning of our business we have put development and modern solutions first – says the owner Anatol Gerczak. We consequently build new facilities, which allows expanding our production. The quality is important to us, which we put in the first place. Therefore, we also ensure that our farms, located in north-eastern Poland, meet all the standards connected with biosecurity. At the moment we can proudly say that this is the most modern complex of this type in Europe.
The solutions applied inside the complex are also impressive. They show the direction in which the building of parent farms is developing. All the facilities on the farm are connected with a connecting unit, thanks to which the employees have no contact with the surrounding area after entering the premises. This ensures a higher level of biosecurity than a situation in which you have to go from one building to another exposing yourself to contamination from outside. All the production cycle, from artificial insemination to collection, selection and storing the eggs, is held in completely safe conditions.

This way we can guarantee their highest quality, as we hatch them from the well-known-to-us origin and we supervise everything. We closely watch every stage of production, and so we can ensure it meets the highest standards. Our partner takes care that the flocks are bred in the best conditions, that is exactly in the conditions we have created in our complex. We have introduced standards which guarantee the most restrictive norms in turkey reproduction. This allows showing the full genetic potential of B.U.T. 6 chicks and ensures the homogeneity of the genetic material.
