The breeding and hatching halls have been enlarged to adapt the production capacity to the current demand.
The plant has been enriched with additional modern breeding and hatching machines by Petersime. The existing machines have also been modernized.
Changes also included the facility’s air conditioning system. Two additional modern air conditioning units have been installed, meeting the latest standards, which guarantee the optimal climate. Moreover, the hitherto existing, biggest air-conditioning unit has been modernised so that also during a heat wave the best conditions for hatching are ensured.
As a consequence of this reconstruction, the warehouse and distribution of chicks have been significantly expanded.
In the further stage, which will take place still later this year, the company plans to expand its car fleet. Two additional specialised cars for transporting chicks with a capacity of 15,000 and 35,000 chicks will be purchased.
The expansion of the hatchery in Laseczno is connected with the dynamic development of the Gerczak company.
